Due to compact folding geometry and tight tolerances, the front wheel may sit very close to the crankarm or frame. The wheel may also sit slightly angled, which can lead to contact and rolling resistance.

This adapter is designed as an upgrade solution to improve clearance and wheel positioning for a smoother rolling experience, especially for riders with upgraded setups or higher expectations for folded-bike rolling performance.
